Step by step

  1. Inspect the factory-made parts

Check the supplier-shaped, edge-banded panels and polished mirror parts before assembly.

    • Check the top against 35 7/16" × 15 3/4".
    • Check the finished furniture-board thickness against the ordered 11/16".
    • Inspect the rounded corners and continuous matching edge bands.
    • Reject chipped glass, damaged laminate or exposed panel cores.
    • Compare the complete arm kit with its approved mounting drawing.
  2. Apply the dusty pink finish

Prepare and coat the exposed laminated panels with a compatible matte dusty pink system.

    • Scuff the coating areas lightly with 220-grit abrasive.
    • Mask glue contacts, slide tracks and hardware holes.
    • Apply laminate-compatible bonding primer.
    • Apply the matte dusty pink colour coats.
    • Allow the full coating-system cure before assembly.
  3. Attach the concealed top cleats

Attach each top cleat while its end panel is accessible on the bench.

    • Support each end panel on a padded bench.
    • Clamp each cleat flush with its panel's upper edge.
    • Predrill the marked screw positions with a depth stop.
    • Drive the cleat screws with the drill clutch set low.
  4. Assemble the slim table base

Join the end panels, drawer deck, rear rail and divider into a square base.

    • Clamp the drawer deck between the end panels.
    • Fasten the deck through the end panels.
    • Fasten the rear stiffening rail between the ends.
    • Fasten the divider upward through the deck.
    • Compare the base diagonals before final tightening.
  5. Attach the mirror uprights

Fasten both mirror uprights to the rear rail with their lower edges aligned.

    • Clamp the uprights against the rear rail.
    • Align both upright lower ends with the rail's lower edge.
    • Predrill the overlapping faces.
    • Drive the upright screws from behind.
  6. Secure the rounded top

Lower the top around the uprights and attach it from beneath.

    • Apply the specified adhesive to the prepared divider contact.
    • Lower the top over the two upright clearance openings.
    • Align the top with the outside end-panel faces.
    • Drive the top screws upward through the cleats.
    • Clamp the divider contact for the adhesive cure.
  7. Mount the mirror backing

Attach the hidden spacers to the backing, then secure the backing to both uprights.

    • Lay the backing face down on padding.
    • Fasten the spacers through the backing from behind.
    • Clamp the backing centrally across the uprights.
    • Fasten the backing from behind the uprights.
  8. Attach the mirror mounting wing

Secure the compact arm mounting wing behind the right edge of the main mirror backing.

    • Clamp the wing with 2 3/16" overlap behind the backing.
    • Position its lower edge 10 5/8" above the backing bottom.
    • Predrill the four rear screw positions with a depth stop.
    • Drive the screws from the rear of the wing.
  9. Fit the mirror and lighting

Fit rear-facing warm-white lighting for a wall halo and bond the fixed mirror to its existing spacers.

    • Fit the rear-facing diffuser 1" inside the backing perimeter.
    • Route the low-voltage lead down behind an upright.
    • Test the warm-white halo before fixing the glass.
    • Apply approved mirror adhesive to the spacer faces.
    • Support the aligned mirror throughout the adhesive cure.
  10. Assemble both drawer boxes

Assemble the wide and slim drawer boxes with full-thickness bottoms.

    • Clamp each front and back between its matching sides.
    • Predrill the side-to-end connections.
    • Drive the box assembly screws.
    • Fasten each bottom from underneath.
    • Compare each box's diagonals.
  11. Install the soft-close slides

Fit both pairs of soft-close slides and adjust the drawer travel.

    • Mark level slide centre lines 26 7/16" above the floor.
    • Fasten the cabinet members flush with the cabinet front edges.
    • Fasten the drawer members flush with the box fronts.
    • Insert both boxes into their matching cabinet members.
    • Adjust the slide positions in the slotted holes.
    • Drive the remaining mounting screws.
  12. Fit the fronts and handles

Align the dusty pink drawer faces and install the brushed gold pulls.

    • Space the drawer faces with 1/16" reveal shims.
    • Clamp each face to its drawer box.
    • Drive the face screws from inside each drawer.
    • Mark each handle with 3" screw centres.
    • Drill the handle holes against a sacrificial backing block.
    • Install the pulls with their matched mounting screws.
  13. Fit the hidden cable compartment

Assemble the recessed cable tray and its removable cover beneath the rear of the table.

    • Fasten the cable tray to the rear rail.
    • Fasten the front lip and end panels to the tray.
    • Clamp the power outlet beneath the rear worktop edge.
    • Route the loose cable through the cover relief.
    • Slide the removable cover onto its end supports.
  14. Fit the adjustable makeup mirror

Mount the two-swivel gold arm beside the main mirror and secure the vanity before testing its reach.

    • Fit the anti-tip restraint with site-appropriate wall anchors.
    • Predrill the wing using the bracket's factory template.
    • Fasten the bracket with four pan-head screws.
    • Attach the preassembled arm base with its two machine screws.
    • Adjust the swivel friction and the mirror-head tilt.
    • Check the 13 3/4" forward pivot reach from the seated position.
